Here’s the latest – on the one hand – a bios update on a dell business line computer is labeled “recommended”. Ok.

Bios update repeatedly fails over repeated attempts over several months. Why? It’s unpackaged. “download the file and copy it to a DOS-bootable diskette”.

For those of you in cryogenic slumber for the last 15 years – almost no modern computers ship w/a diskette drive. Dear dell.com – a clue for the clueless – get a clue.
