Slowly driven insane by the “next item…” pop-ups at slate.com while making the rounds of my morning (ok, mid-morning) news roundup. 
Does this adblock addon list fit the bill or overly scorched earth? It’s a long list of things they block – facebook, twitter, country specific social networking annoyances…
It is blocking the – SURPRISE! BOO!!! style popups at slate.com. I’ve always thought of slate as tech. savvy – how did that get through basic vetting – “Say – this is a good idea…”???
