A bit of history. I was annoyed by cell carrier gouging (are you stupid? – come be one of our customers…). Virgin mobile 1st likely suspect for pay-as-you-go mobile. Well, not exactly.

The periods when you’re out of town, out of country & don’t see the need to fork over $$$ to virgin – they try to gouge. Among other issues – wifi as fallback to mobile network – not so well configured – not that that translates to $$$ for virgin for less tech. savvy customers (90% of their customers – at least they think).
