How I guarantee my work
General IT (break/fix) and ongoing technical support – I follow documented Microsoft & Microsoft partner network & MVP best practices as they are documented & evolve.
Web site & database work – all critical application features will be tested. I will investigate & repair any technical errors for 3 months not related to expansion or modification of the system beyond the original design. References available upon request.
Cost management considerations
- I will adjust my work to fit your budget. Tell me your price range & I will adjust the scale accordingly.
- I charge for meeting time and phone time with my clients. Use meeting time wisely and effectively. Providing me with all
your requirements before we start saves a huge amount of management time. - The following prices are estimates and assume careful planning before the work begins. Plan carefully – avoid revisions.
- I am glad to launch the system with some sections and features postponed to a later time.
- A rush delivery or working on weekends costs more per hour.
- Fewer rounds of revisions is less expensive.
- To add features not included in this estimate I will need your approval in writing of a revised agreement. A cancellation of
any part of this plan should also be made in writing. - A delay in receiving needed information from the client can delay the entire timeline and launch date.
Cost estimate
I are glad to work within your budget. Details on how to keep cost down is in “Cost Management Considerations” section
above.
Specific to database & web site work – I can set a top price as your budget limit. If you request many revisions and customizations I will
warn you if you are approaching the top amount budgeted in this proposal. The price I bill you will never exceed the upper
range, unless you change specifications.
- Rates
- $75 per hour – IT support, programming, web site or database-related tasks
- $25 more per hour for rush work & emergency support (weekends and past 6 pm weekday evenings)
Payment information
- Checks should be payable to Robert C. Finley
- Payment is due within 15 days of receiving an invoice.
- New clients – 50% advance deposit based on scope of initial tasks – one hour deposit minimum.
