Dog Beach – Off Topic

Clip of the dogs on the “dog beach”. Nice long ride.

adblock annoyances test drive

Slowly driven insane by the “next item…” pop-ups at slate.com while making the rounds of my morning (ok, mid-morning) news roundup. Does this adblock addon list fit the bill or overly scorched earth? It’s a long list of things they block – facebook, twitter, country specific social networking annoyances… It is blocking the – SURPRISE! […]

Expedition to Armitage

More bean options. Prices -OK. For future reference – China Garden on Milwaukee south of Chicago Ave.

Down to the last serving – roasted lima’s segue to greek style

A few shots around the bridge

Hard rock replacement. “Chuck’s Manufacturing“? Ok. See the weeds? Kayaks. Sunday dinner via pioneer… I do the potatoes (braise 1st) in the pot. They’re good that way.

Not a bad end to Labor Day weekend

A few Labor Day panning videos at Montrose Point.     So much for auto focus. :). And – just for grins – bargain late lunch at a Clark St. Tacqueria looping south by bike after the beach.

Weird s*** at godaddy (or bluehost, or wordpress….) today

At some point you just throw in the towel & humor their failures. Clues so far: bluehost absolutely positively INSISTS on installing wordpress in a subdirectory – not root? godaddy aboslutely positively INSISTS on installing wordpress at root – not a subdirectory. wordpress – not much help. Seeing frustrated postings (search “wordpress subdirectory” or “wordpress […]
